Yes, the car does exhibit more rear side bite, I added the center strut from
salven's car to hold down the rear of the tray, it just seemed to be the proper
thing to do. My friend Bob Engersole from Dallas drives a Serpent 966, He also
tried the Salven Mod on his car. He ran the car at the SWS # 5 race here in
Houston two weeks ago where he thought it was an improvement. I talked to
him last night, he is at the US Nationals in Toledo. He said the traction is so
high at the Toledo track He had to take the Salven Mod off his serpent due to
traction rolling. The extra flex and resultant increase in traction was not needed at Toledo. He went back to the stock radio tray setup. So this mod
is not the answer to all conditions.
