I use the same ESC in F1 and sedan. I've run stock and as low as 19 turn modified with it and have seen no ill effects. I think it's rated to handle as low as a 14 turn motor, if I remember correctly. It should say in the instruction. All the current ratings and times you are referring to are the amount of current that is being drawn through the esc and the duration that it can handle this amount of current. To use the analogy of drinking a soda with a straw, the sucking force that pulls the soda into your mouth is like the force the motor has pulling the electrons through the esc, wire, etc. This force is rated in amps. You would have to throw your motor on a dyno to get this type of data for it. Don't try measuring it with ordinary electronic test equipment! You'll fry it and risk electricution. It only takes 500ma (1/2 of an amp) to kill a human and you lose muscle control at 250ma (1/4 of an amp.)
