I had a friend who had the same problem with his losi 8ight-T 2.0.
He's afraid to crank the flywheel down too hard because he doesn't want to deal with the hassle of getting it off later on. But I'd rather have it cranked down and never come loose, and I'll worry about getting the flywheel off when the time comes.
And trust me, when I do have to take the flywheel off, it's a B!%@H to get off.
i use a big pair of pliers and hold the flywheel and tighten the flywheel as hard as i can, if i need the flywheel off i just take the nut off and smack the back of the flywheel with a rubber mallet, works great
