the hyper 7 is not a "cheap" buggy. its a really good buggy. my brother has one and it does awesome on the track. he does real well with it too. i would definatly get one. when you do, get a starter box for it and throw the pull starter away. on my brother's, you could hardly get it started the motor was so tight. and the pull starter half the time wouldnt turn the motor over. but its a great buggy. the engine in it is pretty good too. real fast. good luck with it!
