not 2 sure what the temperature was but using the tried & true spit test it wasn't sizzling on the cylinder head so i think the temp. was in an acceptable range. what temp. should they be running @? i did notice a lot of carbon on top of the piston when it ceased suggesting it was 2 lean but i think this was due 2 a faulty fuel tank that had a crack in the pick-up forcing to much air thus running it lean. lucky the warranty sorted the engine out eh. but the techo's said that the fuel was'nt rich enough in lube & told me 2 add castor oil 2 it.
