There's a pic a few pages back of someone's car with the TP pack in it and it fits. As for the milled out area I zoomed in on the chassis pic on the BMI website and it looks like it goes from the center of the tape slot to the center of the other tape slot which is 91mm. Depending on how much the edges of the pack are curved will determine how well they fit. The Reedy pack at 93mm is going to just about cover up the tape slots which will make taping in the battery a bit on the difficult side even if it fits.
