I'm not doubting you at all, however can you assure me 100% on the React having .5v tolerance?

As far as I am aware reading the Nomadio Forum's, the React can't even take a 6V 5 cell stick pack that have been used in receivers in the past like this http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...r-Pack-1400mAh, they have to be 4 cell AA battery packs like this http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Nomadio-React.

I don't have the extra $$$$ for a new radio. I need to assured.

Thanks for your help Angelo, kindly appreciate all your help.

Even alkaline batteries are over 1.5v when fresh. more like 1.6v. NiMh AA's are over 1.54v when full charged.

All electronics have built in buffer.

If you don't believe use a DMM and check a fresh Alkaline AA yourself.
