I am also running the Maxpower MF M5 & it is plenty enough motor for truggy & a lot of Max team Drivers are usinf the M5 as well the 8 port might be to much for truggy but it well suited for tracks that have a big stright the M5 has a little more bottom all around the motor rips bottom/mid/top
