I had the same thing happen on my Z01-B. I shimmed it to the same resistance as my Kyosho and Turmoil had and ended up blowing out the ring gear about 4 tanks in. For the replacement I shimmed it pretty tight. It loosened up after 4 or 5 more tanks. I'm now well into my second gallon and the diffs are still perfect.
