That's weird, I have denatured alcohol in a spray bottle for over e year and no disintegration of the plastic at all. maybe the mixture is causing toxic chemicals that are eating the plastic. Experiment with it, try just WD-40 and Simple green, then simple green and alcohol, etc, etc, see where the reaction is coming from. If you cant figure it out, google aluminum spray bottles and get one of those
