What I heard was that the company that was producing thier amplifiers produced a bad batch and they were failing, so instead of Hitec releasing them with crappy amps like most other servo companies would do, they dumped all of the bad ones and found a new amp supplier. That's the reason for the delay, which I think really says a LOT about the company. It would have been much easier and cost friendly just to dump the bad servos on the customer. Again that's just what I heard, and have no idea of how correct it is.
