+1000 on the 7955 these things are bulletproof. I ran JR 9100s/ 9100T last year and I like the hitec much better. I use the 7955 and 7965 for throttle/ brake. I like the throttle/ brake servo to be on the faster side .15 is too slow.
I recently talked to hitec and the 7940 & 7950 are not going to be released until august at the earliest.
What I heard was that the company that was producing thier amplifiers produced a bad batch and they were failing, so instead of Hitec releasing them with crappy amps like most other servo companies would do, they dumped all of the bad ones and found a new amp supplier. That's the reason for the delay, which I think really says a LOT about the company. It would have been much easier and cost friendly just to dump the bad servos on the customer. Again that's just what I heard, and have no idea of how correct it is.
