48 / 17 and 16/ 45 are almost the same gear ratio.. but 17/48 moves your motor WAY out from center
Hey fellas, kind of bringing this one back. I picked up an 8b which has the spur fairly worn so I will be picking a new one. Is 16/45 a good setup to run on the buggy?

edit: or even numerically smaller? 15/43 or something? to keep engine closer to center-line
