Ok thanks for that, I was able to pop it off with the pliers. Although, the 4 screws are so extremely tight, that if I hold the sextant steady and try to rotate it with a massive pressure, the sextant bends a lot but the screw doesn't move anything! Any ideas?

EDIT: Sorry, didn'T see your latest post frostie. Gonna try the hairdryer and tell you how it turns out
