If that's the case you might as well take it out and see what happen. Your going to have to rebuild it at the least. Depending on the cost of parts you maybe be better off just replacing it.
You aren't turning the clutch bell are you? The flywheel is the silver part, not the black bell with the gear on it, that is part of the clutch.
Check the picture just to make sure.
