Get an Axial .28 or something similar... Hard-ish on fuel, but a reliable engine for a budget price, and you can learn to tune on that, that way, your nice .21 stays nice until you get tuning down

Also, tuning by sound only works for some people, others need to tune by smoke, or feel, and most by temp.

Not everyone is sensitive to sound
