Joe - If the piston turning over inside the engine and preventing you from tightening the flywheel, you need to use a locking tool like this one:

All you do is remove the glo plug, screw in the tool and it keeps the piston from moving. I have one, but, I'm not sure when the next time I'm going to be at the track.
