The only way I've successfully spaced it out is using either 2x 2mm spacers or 4x 1 mm spacers. The other way around it is to get a set up of the Plain Alloy hexes, they are 6mm.
Also, one of my mates just dropped his foams onto a tire truer actually cut 2mm off the rim, making it a nice 24mm foam.
