Top heavy? Mustn't have the car set up - never had many issues with traction rolling, even after the use of lipos.

Why do you want a race car that is less direct (ie responds slower)? That'll make things worse again. The 03 was direct-ish, due to the slop in the linkages and the bump steer etc. I'd be concerned if it went even slower!
