I was told by more then one servo manufacture that in 1/8 off road we should use T's in both throttle and steering. Reason being is that 1/8 off road cars weigh more then any other RC car class, and when under breaking the Speed servos can't handle stress from the load. This makes sense to me because whatever servo you decide to use was prob not designed strictly for 1/8 off road application. My suggestion to you is. Contact whatever manufacture you decide to go with and ask them what you should use for your application.
