By "unsightly" I mean it looks dirty. The tracks I run on are red clay and it doesn't take 5 minutes before the stuff is orange. On the plus side, you can tell when it's time to clean it up. I also bought a can of the Mobil 1 and a syringe and use that for the universal joints. The black molly grease goes on the ring and pinion gears.
