Are any of you guys running a single cell lipo setup in your cars (1/10th 13.5 or 1/12th 10.5) if so how do they compare to 4cell nimh? At the track where I race we are running 4cell nimh but good packs are getting hard to find.

I've been running the 1s for the last three race days in my DB12R with the Tekin RS, TQ booster, and an orion 13.5. Two of those days on med sized outdoor asphalt track and one outing on a smallish carpet track. On the asphalt I'm a touch slower than 17.5/nimh, and on the small carpet track I had the hero lap untill the main when I was bested by .01sec.
I'm still working out the bugs and trying to find the right esc/radio settings and gearing but so far I prefer my 17.5 and A123 cells combo. Weight is about the same with A123 cells as with the 1s lipo but the lipo has a much softer feel.
I'm just finishing up building my new DB12RR so I'm looking forward to trying both setups in the new car.
