Hey Everybody,

We're having our outdoor season kick-off race May 9th at The Track in Winthrop Harbor,IL. NE illinois (Where IL, WI, and Lake Michigan meet). We are looking to have F1 as part of the race. The TCS race at Trackside was my some of my first racing with the F1 car and we want to try and keep it alive over the summer, not just haul them out for TCS. Its a parking lot race, so we maybe need to work on tires and ride height suggestions a little bit. I've been talking with Rob King about it and I'm going to try and do some testing this week and weekend.

TCS rules. I need to talk with Eric (track owner) about an RPM rule, but the answer is probably no limit. We're trying to get some audience folks interested in the hobby so keep in mind that we would like good, close racing.

It will be a Saturday afternoon race with the mains under the lights.

Here's a link to the race post. I will updating with more details very soon.

We would love to have a bunch of F1 cars on the grid. PM or drop a reply in the thread or here if you have any questions.

THANKS!

michael.
