In my experience there really isn't a clearance problem on the braking system. But, if you really need to, shims can be applied on the collars that the brake pads slide across.

Thanks. Shims should help.
Did your brake cam come with a small screwed into it at the bottom.
The manual does not show any screw at all. I don't think I need to but just looking to make sure.
