That's great info. I see that I am still a newb at this stuff. We all Use Paragon FX and it's not too smelly.
I'll try the lighter fluid or motor spray. (is that a degreaser?)

Also the track is in a heated space all the time and we do not change the layout so there is a good black line where all the cars are running
