regular lubricating oils such as motor oil and 3 n 1 oil are not near TACKY enough to do the job near as well as products designed for foam air filters. you might want to consider pony'n up 8 bucks for a 20 year supply of PJ1 foam filter oil or similiar product. You can get it at any ride shop. Your engines will love you for it.
