Tamiya has just released some Lightweight Titanium Axles:

Tamiya Tokyo Hobby Show-New Items Report

Look at all the new goodies!

Here's the part number for the axles:

Item 53681 Titanium Wheel Axle for Assembly Universal Shaft

This is on page 12 along with other new stuff.
