I raced a GT for 2 1/2 years and bought and raced the GT2 (Corvette) last November. I applied the same setup that I had worked on with the GT to the GT2 and raced it the next day. I had an aftermarket engine (Axial) and pipe on the GT and ran the GT2 stock. I felt the GT2 was more stable. Less tendency to kick out the rear. It was more stable... but I changed the oil in the shocks, shock settings and ride height. I was concerned about the longer chassis working in slower tight sections... simply not the case. It is a great ride. Like I said earlier... locktite every metal to metal screw... every one. Change out the dual brakes and pads for the turned single rotor and sintered pads. Set the gear mesh tight... don't be afraid to be tight... it will seat in the first few laps and last for a long time. If you set the mesh like you would normally set gear mesh make sure that you have some spares.. they will strip out. Set the mesh tight. Now... race the heck of it.
