I think CORR trucks will be a big class this year but I have my doubts about a $700 nitro truck. These here are very tough economic times and I'm guessing the majority of RC racers don't have a ton of disposable income. The first thing that gets cut are things like hobbies and luxury spending. It sure is for me. So as much as this could be a huge class I think the cost will be a barrier to entry for many.
I've got an RC8 roller I'm looking to convert to an SC8. I figure new shock towers, chassis braces, chassis, drive shafts, tires, body and roll cage and I'm there. I have the engine, radio, and servos already. We have a local track here that was originally built for 1/5th scale and it's huge. It will be perfect for the SC8.
