He says that after brake in or before change the rod to a +4 rod it's stronger and will last better.Also a tuneing tip on these engines run the hsn a little fat and the lsn a tick lean this will help with your idel. jim hottinger is the owner and he is in europe for 2 more weeks . the new bf engines will take the r7 rod , i am having a hard time believing it is the rod though . suspect something else but not exactly sure at the moment .
