I agree with Bill, your tires are a bit too large. We run down to 52.75 on our larger rim, so even smaller is possible with Jaco's smaller rim.

try around a 2.80" rollout. I ran 37/88 with 2.09 tires at the halloween race and the car was pretty quick. Remember, this varies greatly depending on what type of speedo you are using. Typically looking for a max motor temp of about 140.

talking about tires, could you explain the advantages/disadvantages of using the larger wheel vs. the smaller wheel (CRC vs. Jaco)
