With the servo flat you should have lots of steering due to the ackerman. For more mid corner steering increase the caster or use thicker L-bars. You won't lose rear traction by using thicker L-bars only gain steering. Thats the great thing about the BMI DB12R. Also check your diff., if it is a bit too loose you will lose steering.
