I use the Hudy pin replacement tool and it is as simple as push the old one out and push the new one in. Out of 25+ pins that I have replaced, never had an issue with the pin coming out. I've used mugen pins and Hudy pins. Hudy seemed to last just a tad bit longer but the mugen pins are fine.
