So now I'm kinda sorry I bought an SC8 I thought about doing this with my 8 buggy, but when I priced everything out, I think the total came to around $300 for everything if I bought it all from a hobby shop (didn't even think to check Ebay).

How much you got into it so far, if you don't mind me asking?
