I think I did in one of the qualifiers yesterday. mid way through the race I started hearing a bit of grind and pulled it in.. the motor still had mesh but not much and started taking the tops off the spur teeth. So I jammed it back together and all was good

I normally run my mesh a bit lose and that could have caused the teeth on the spur to wear and start to break a bit.
