Go with the Losi RTR, its probally the best RTR.

Are there any tracks in your area. It nice to see what works there and its a safe bet you'll find someone that can help tune your motor if you need advice. Local hobby shops rarely have the time/skill to help tune anything. (Want to test that: Ask them for an Xray, they'll be sure to point you to the nearest hospital.)

The only thing I usually learn at the shop is the "Door chime warranty".
