anyone has experience with the RB Xenon engine?

what's a good engine to get for around $400...
I found the Xenon Alpha to be very easy to tune and a great performer. Unfortunately I also had reliability issues with it. The original piston failed (blew a nice little hole in the top of it) after less than a gallon. The replacement P/S ran even better until the rod stretched during warm-up for the main at the nats at about the 3/4 gallon mark. I wanted to replace the rod for the main but was unable to get one. Of course, I blew up a couple other motors that week too so I may have been having a fuel issue. I think it would be a good choice just make sure to replace rods often.

The best bet for a budget motor would be the cheaper Nova's. Maybe a JP P7 or something similar. I think Roleof would agree with this.
