great, how didn't i see all these problems, now the hex screw that gos through the bumper(i'm trying to take it off), stripped out. How do you guys get a stripped screw out!
I avoid them in the first place by not ever using the allen wrenches that come with the kit. I used the stock wrench on the tunnel plate on mine, since I couldn't find my good 0.050" one, and stripped out the head on one of the 2-56 screws before I could blink. To remove stripped screws, I usually do like Randman suggested and dremel them into flathead screws. If they're countersunk (flathead) screws, I use a reverse thread extractor a machinist friend of mine made me. I chuch it in my drill press and apply a ton od pressure while slowly turning the spindle backwards by hand. It's hard and slow, but it's the best way I've found to remove the most stubborn small screws. As a matter of fact, I just used it on my car.
Next stop: Hobby shop, for stainless tunnel screws.
