I was interested in the differences between the buggies and truggies myself. Not because I wanted to convert, but because I wanted to limit the duplication of spare parts. I have Jammin' X1 CR's and X1 CRT's, so it's pretty easy to compare. Here's the differences that I have noticed:

- The chassis of the truggy is both longer and wider than the buggy, which means that you also need longer drive universals or dogbones
- The arms are longer, so therefore the CVD's & turnbuckles are also longer
- The shock towers are larger on the truggy and have a different body mounting setup
- The spur gear on the truggy is much larger than the buggy
- The truggy has a large front bumper that the buggy lacks

There may be other differences, but that's what I've been able to determine from a visual inspection of my cars. Personally, if I wanted to switch from one to another I'd just buy a used truggy of the same type as your buggy.

My 2 cents
