The quickest "trackside" way to do it is to put a fuel line from the fuel outlet to the pressure (exhaust in), fill the tank 100% full, then gently squeeze the sides of the tank. Usually, if there is a leak, fuel will come out where the leak is. This is a method I have used at the track and it has always worked for me.
