The Matrix R2 RTR will retail for $299. R2 Pro is due out by spring. Not sure on the street price on that one, which will be the new race buggy.
FYI, the R2 RTR is geared towards the club racer, where ROAR minimum weight requirements dont typically apply (weighs < 3200g), and engine displacement isnt restricted to a .21 (comes with a Corsa .28).
That said, you can significantly lighten your FRE with the composite radio tray, a-arms, and diffs. Not sure if the new diffs will work on a BCE Truggy conversion, but I will hopefully have the answer to that next week.
I've actually done a lot to lighten my BCE Matrix truggy, but am still experimenting. I believe that the new upper arms will work with some lunsford rods, but I'm running Gene's for now.
New wheels... They're extremely light and seem very strong, and measure 46mm x 80mm, if I remember my measurements correctly.
