I use to run a regulator with my lipo, I have had the reg go out 3 diff times 1 of the times was a run away! Had the reg mounted out side the box so it would not get over heated! Now i run with out a reg, just straight lipo and have not had any problems with, doing this has increased the speed and torque of the servos
