Take the radio tray out, servo position doesn't matter. When you reinstall it turn your radio gear on (including radio), so the servos center. Then put the steering servo horn on, centering the tires straight ahead. For throttle and brake you do kinda the same thing except you make sure the carb is closed when you put the horn on. Steering is super easy and throttle is not too bad either. Both you will get figured out quickly if you have everything on the car setup right. It is a cinch! Heck, I figured out how to do it.

As far as cleaners go, I like an air hose followed by a quality paintbrush. The paintbrush helps to get any remaining dirt that the airhose either could't or didn't. Plus, when you are dusting it off with the paintbrush you will notice and find potential problems with the vehicle you might not have otherwise found.
