Most 1/8 buggies and truggies if set up the same are all in the 40-45 MPH speed limit, but if you plan to race, its makes no difference whatsoever, unless you are drag racing. If its just all out speed you want, get one of them new brushless, lipo traxxas things 80+ MPH right out of the box. Real fun for going up and down your street fast, which is fun for about 10 minutes
