I currently run a 3+ year old 12L3 conversion, and am looking to get something Brushless ready and more Lipo compatible than my T bar car. But I dig Tbar car feel and handling around corners so this seems like the perfect car.

One quick question - the shock shown in the pic above, does that come with the kit? I know its a fancy bladdered shock thats better than the VCS shocks that come with other cars... just wanted to check if the one in that pic is the real deal?

Also on your site you mention that you dont run the 12L4 graphite cross bar linking the two sides of the front suspension, any reason why not? Arent you more likely to delaminate the chassis in a side impact without that?
