Actually, the chassis on the 2.0 is lightened as well...chassis has some material milled out for weight savings and added flex!
I'm am throwing this loosely but I think a local guys version 1 came in about 7 7 oz. or a bit more.
At the worlds our cars were like 1/4 ounce over minimum ifmar weight. I think that is 7pnds, 2 oz.
Some savings areas are:
Towers front and rear
Smaller turnbuckles and turnbuckle ends
Chassis(I think)
Diff cases, now you no longer have to run the hd cases. This saves a good bit.
