What engine for an XT2?
I purchased an XT2 roller off the for sale section - i'm new to 1/8th, so I don't have an engine collection just yet. I'm considering a few different options for this buggy. I want to get good at running it and handling it for now. I'd like to race some day, but presumably i'd get a different buggy and engine to be competitive when that time comes.
Here's the options i'm debating right now.
-Put an OS 18tz on it which I have lying around (light weight)
-Get a .21 OS like the 21vg (reliable)
-Get a .21-27 engine from another manufacturer (more power)
Budget wise, i'm trying to spend $150 or less, so "get a v-spec" probably isn't very helpful. I'm most leaning towards #1, as I have all the parts on hand, and I hate driving heavy cars (like my traxxas monster buggy lol)
Any thoughts?
