I use those little elastic bands with a Hotec 5955TG which is rated a 333 oz/in @ 6 volts. I am using a 7 volt regulator so I have a bit more torque and speed compared to the 6 volt rating and those little bands have held up well and pull the slid carb closed. They are the best and cheapest investment you can make in this hobby.
