I'm currently running only CO27's, but im curious as to whether the gains in RPM with the X-stock are worth the trade off in power/torque, or whether they are minimal- hence the CO27 would be the better option.

Hey Robbie..
I and some other team driver's have played with the X Stocks. I still feel the slight RPM base gain is not worth the loss of the overall power band the CO27 is able to deliver. Also the X stock is not as kind to heat as the CO27 based motor's.
Stay with the CO27.. Even at large Oval races last year where RPMs mattered most 9 of 10 chose the CO27...
