Ya, that seems VERY odd. If your car is tweaked (pod and chassis, and or wheels) then you may be holding the tweak if you do it your way. Hmm. I guess I will just try it without the side dampener on. It seems to never return to the same spot with it attached, and that is with 20wt AE oil. I read
here that he sets tweak then screws the side springs in 2 full turns so that it should return to center better.
