For those asking. Gearing for our 17.5 motors that we used to win the nationals was:
-81 spur 28 pinion in a Losi MF1 truck with a 2.43:1 ratio transmission.
-72 spur 32 pinion in a AE B4 buggy with a 2.6:1 ratio transmission.

THESE ARE ONLY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OUR MOTORS.
